Lisa Honeywell
Registered Manager
Lisa brings over 23 years of experience in health and social care, with a career that has taken her from working as a Domestic Assistant and Kitchen Assistant/Cook, through domiciliary care and team leadership, to becoming a Registered Manager in 2013
I achieved my Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, before taking the next step in my career as a Team Leader within a care home.
While working in that role, I successfully completing my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care.
Her career has given her a wealth of experience across both home care and residential care, along with a strong understanding of what it takes to provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
Lisa is passionate about supporting people to remain independent, respected and in control of their own lives, while ensuring that staff feel valued, supported and empowered to deliver the very best care.
Joining H & H Healthcare is particularly special for Lisa as it brings her full circle, back to where her career in care began. I am incredibly happy to be joining H&H Healthcare and to have the opportunity to work alongside Hazel Harris, Owner and Director. Hazel was previously my manager, right up until 2013, when she took a leap of faith and left to begin her own exciting adventure — creating what would become H&H Healthcare.
To now have the opportunity to join Hazel on that journey all these years later feels incredibly special. It is wonderful to see how far that original vision has come, and I am genuinely excited about the future and the part I can play in continuing to build on it.
Most importantly, I am excited to be returning to homecare — the very place where my care career began. There is something incredibly meaningful about coming back to where it all started, but bringing with me many years of experience, knowledge, leadership and, most importantly, an even deeper understanding of what good care truly means.
My aim as Registered Manager is simple: to help create a culture where people feel valued, listened to, respected and supported, whether they are receiving care, providing care or working alongside us.
I believe great homecare is about so much more than completing tasks. It is about building trusted relationships, promoting independence, preserving dignity and making a positive difference to someone's day — often through the smallest acts of kindness.
Lisa is excited about being part of H & H Healthcare and working alongside the team to build on the excellent care already being provided, develop our services and create a positive culture where people matter, staff are valued and great care is at the heart of everything we do.
